100,000 Pinoys The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, (DENR) on Thursday announced that it would hire more than 100,000 workers for “green-collar” jobs in upland areas.

Around 52,425 upland farmers would be hired as workers for the Upland Development Program (UDP) to plant forest and fruit tree seedlings, including high-value commercial crops, Atienza added.
